Working alongside and reporting to the Project Director (PD), the NBC Manager - Indigenous Initiatives is responsible for overseeing and managing the development, implementation and coordination of Indigenous initiatives at NBC. This includes our Indigenous Birthwork Training program, our Knowledge Keepers Advisory Circle, developing and maintaining partnerships with Indigenous organizations, and advancing Indigenous Birthwork related programming.

 

Term: 1 year contract with opportunity for extension (dependent on funding) 

Anticipated Start Date: January 2, 2024

Hourly rate: $45/hour

Hours: 30 hours per week

Salary range: $70,200

 

The position is open to Indigenous residents across the NWT, Nunavut and Yukon.

Priority will be given to NWT residents.

Our office is located in Yellowknife but remote work is available for this position.
