My name is Kayla Hoff and I’m a Métis mother from Hay River, NT. I was grateful to be a client of the Northern Birthwork Collective. I truly appreciate and value the informative and culturally relevant prenatal education I received.  I’m passionate about ensuring families in Northern communities receive the same support I received and always refer them to NBC for its compassionate and culturally appropriate care. As a Tourism Development Officer for the GNWT, I have built strong relationships with Indigenous communities, facilitated educational workshops, and supported community-driven initiatives. As a new mother, I’m committed to raising my daughter with a strong connection to my Métis culture and understand firsthand the importance of culturally safe reproductive health support. I'm honored to contribute my experience and passion to this initiative, ensuring families feel empowered, supported, and informed.
